DanubeCompass for Migrants is Available in 21 Languages

The transnational information platform Danube Compass, a result of a collaboration of many European partners,  has an aim to provide easy to understand and reliable information for migrants. The DC is available in 8 countries and in 21 different languages.

 

 

Far before launching of the DRIM – Danube Compass, the integrated multi-language platform for induction of living and integration fo migrants was piloted into four cities. The four pilot actions took place in Ljubljana, Graz, Munich, and Zagreb between November 2017 and March 2018.

 

FACTS on the pilot actions: A total of 294 people took part in the pilot activities. About 142 participants were migrants and 152 were stakeholders. Each project partner visited 2pilot actions acting as a peer reviewer and produced 1 report with recommendation and suggestions to increase the quality and user-friendliness of the Danube Compass.

 

The organizations in charge of implementing the pilot actions were the Employment Service of Slovenia, the Centre for Peace Studies, the Labour Department of the City of Munich and Caritas Academy of Diocese Graz-Seckau.

 

Finally,  the Danube Compass was put online for desktop and mobile phone use according to the adjustments established at pilot action testing and peer reviews.
