Christmas for Children in Burkina Faso

Every year, Barka Barka organises a big celebration for the Children of Foroteon.In the big cities such as  Ouagadougou, Bobo Dioulasso children use to receive christmas gifts from many associations and sometimes local authorities but in the villages children are usely "forgotten". Our idea is to use this christmas format and grant children in the villages with school kits, health kits...and give them the feeling that somebody cares. Since 2009, Barka Barka in association with its partners allows many children to go to school, to pay their schoolfees, to protect themselves against Malaria,one of the dangerous sicknesses in the country. Our running schoolprojects: Solar Energy for the school to enable children to learn longer and better and give their parents the possibility to go back to school in the evening Cantine for the pupils to give them  a warm meal at midday for most of them are too far away from the school.
